Nick and Liz met while studying for a specialist degree in Restoration and Conservation of Furniture at the London Guildhall University (formerly the London School of Furniture).

After graduating in 1996, Courtyard Antiques was established in the West Country. Both Partners have many years' experience working with furniture and associated decorative objects. A small professional team has been assembled to undertake all aspects of restoration and repair, covering:

• Cabinet-work
• Turning and Carving
• Gilding and Frame Repairs
• Finishing, including French polishing,
  Oil-based and Waxed finishes
• Upholstery, using traditional methods and materials.

INSURANCE CLAIMS

We prepare quotations to comply with insurers' requirements. All quotations are undertaken free of charge within a 5 mile radius and thereafter a small fee may be made to cover fuel.

FURNISHING SERVICE

Commission us to furnish or refurnish an entire room, letting property, second home or even pub interior. We can also advise on décor and fittings appropriate to the property.

SELLING ON COMMISSION

We occasionally sell items on your behalf on a commission basis. Please contact us for further details.

DELIVERY SERVICE

We offer a free service for local collection and delivery within approximately 10 miles. However, a small charge will be requested if an extra man is required

We can quote for delivery further afield , either by ourselves or by reliable carrier.

LOCATION SERVICE
